Progressing Together

We believe that we're stronger together

To ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients, we collect data from other professionals ranging from general case workers, legal advisors, solicitors and regular people who have traversed the process in the past. This set of data is compiled in order to view the merits of cases, and what the relevant authorities and institutions want to see.

The first step to a successful case is understanding what the checkmarks are.

First-Step Migration begins this process of data driven case management focused on making the right arguments, and presenting those arguments in the right way. The starting point for this is the data collection, the negotiations and conversations with the relevant parties to ensure we get the right results for you.

Our Focus

Our approach is to return to the foundational principles of our services, rigorously examining the laws and regulations that form the basis of each case. Rather than simply following established routines or relying on conventional wisdom, we aim to create a dynamic relationship between case history and legal frameworks. By systematically analysing both successful case outcomes and the underlying legal criteria, we can more precisely determine what is required and expected for each client’s application.

We leverage insights from historical cases to identify common themes and best practices, ensuring that our case presentations are informed by proven strategies. While every case is unique, we believe that when the facts align, cases should be structured and argued in a manner consistent with previous successful outcomes. This methodical, evidence-based approach allows us to maximise the likelihood of success for our clients.

Historical Examples

While there are a number of factors we consider, a few broad spectrum examples are explained below.

Asylum Claims

We have noticed a growing number of individuals whose asylum or immigration claims have failed, not because of the merits of their case, but due to inadequate legal representation such as missed evidence or poorly presented arguments. This troubling trend can leave clients feeling powerless and deprived of a fair opportunity.

We assist clients in two main ways:
First, by pursuing professional negligence claims against solicitors whose actions have caused real loss.

Second, by helping clients gather new evidence or arguments to support a Secondary Fresh Claim.

If you believe your case was mishandled, we can pursue a Second Fresh Claim for you.

EU to UK Applicants

We have noticed, from the cases reviewed and professionals spoken to, that a number of applicants to the EU have been unable to present their cases effectively to demonstrate that they have been within the UK consistently for a period of time. Much of the time, applicants seem to believe payslips are the only acceptable form of evidence - which is incorrect!

We can assist clients collect the correct information from reputable vendors to evidence that, indeed, the case they are making is valid and ought to be accepted. However, to do this, we need to understand what has been previously sent, and what combinations and evidence lines seem to work best. While we have a good gist of this, our additional data collection and assessment will refine the data such that we can hone in on the requirements.
